Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: April 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a retreat or event with SSC Events Management Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By securing a booking, you ("the Participant") agree to be bound by the following terms, which comply with UK consumer law and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
1. Bookings, Deposits & Payments
1.1 Securing Your Space: All retreat spaces are secured by paying a mandatory, strictly non-refundable deposit. Your space is not confirmed until this deposit is received in full.
1.2 Remaining Balances: The remaining balance of your ticket must be paid either in full or via an agreed-upon monthly payment plan. All remaining balances must be cleared in full before the commencement of the retreat. Failure to complete payments may result in the forfeiture of your space and your deposit.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 Cancellation by Participant: Deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. If you cancel your booking within 90 days of the retreat start date, you will remain liable for the full ticket balance. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking to cover unexpected cancellations on your end.
2.2 Cancellation by SSC Events: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a retreat due to insufficient numbers, venue issues, or unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that we cancel a retreat, you will be offered a transfer to a future retreat or a full refund of monies paid to us. We are not liable for any external costs incurred by the Participant, including but not limited to flights, travel, or accommodation.
3. Travel, Insurance & Health Requirements
3.1 Mandatory Insurance: It is a strict condition of booking that all Participants must have valid, comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers retreat activities, flight cancellations, and medical emergencies abroad.
3.2 Health & Fitness: Retreats involve physical, somatic, and psychological elements. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically and mentally fit to participate. A mandatory Deep-Dive Integration and Dietary form will be sent to you prior to the retreat. You must disclose any pre-existing medical or psychological conditions.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1 SSC Events are curated as safe, judgement-free spaces for healing. We expect all Participants to maintain an attitude of profound respect, confidentiality, and openness towards fellow guests and our facilitators.
4.2 We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any Participant from the retreat without refund if their behavior is deemed disruptive, abusive, or dangerous to themselves or the group.
5. GDPR & Data Protection
5.1 Data Collection: In compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we collect and process your personal data (including name, contact details, and dietary/health information) solely for the purpose of facilitating your retreat experience.
5.2 Special Category Data: Any health or psychological information provided in your Deep-Dive Integration form is classified as 'Special Category Data'. This is processed with your explicit consent, stored securely, and is only accessed by lead facilitators. It is permanently destroyed within 30 days after the retreat concludes.
5.3 Your Rights: You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
6.1 The somatic, reprogramming, and therapeutic practices offered during our retreats are not a substitute for professional medical or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, SSC Events Management Ltd accepts no liability for any personal injury, loss of property, or emotional distress sustained during the retreat. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our direct negligence.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
